Classic hammock king size made of organic cotton
A soft, supple fabric made of organic cotton and artistic details made by hand - experience relaxation in the best Brazilian hammock tradition.
King size hammock
Traditional cloth hammock for one or more people. Tip: The most comfortable way to lie in it is to lie horizontally as much as possible - this way your back is best supported and the hammock is opened by your body.
Organic cotton
Fair to people and nature: organic cotton is not only more environmentally friendly than conventional cotton. The natural material ensures a pleasant feeling on the skin and is easy to care for. This product complies with the EC Organic Regulation 834/2007
Traditional macramé
The elaborately hand-knotted macramé is a feature of particularly high-quality Brazilian hammocks. The artful linking of the warp threads ensures optimal weight distribution and an incomparable feeling of weightlessness.
Traditional decorative border
Lovingly hand-knotted decorative borders are a special quality feature of Brazilian hammocks. Especially in northern Brazil, people are very proud of the so-called veranda.
Lots of hanging cords
The number of hanging cords contributes to comfort and durability. The more there are, the more evenly the weight is distributed - for a feeling of weightlessness!
Space requirements
The required distance between the two hanging points and the required height of the hanging points can be determined using a simple rule of thumb: The hanging height (y) should correspond to approximately half of the hanging distance (x). If the distance between the suspensions increases, the hammock must be attached a little higher.
Fastening
Hammock between two trees
Depending on the size of your hammock, the trees must be at least three meters apart and strong enough to withstand the load. To attach the hammock between two trees, a rope is looped around the tree trunk and connected to the hammock.
Hammock between two walls
Load-bearing, solid walls are suitable for attaching the hammock. The MultiSpot, which distributes the weight across three drill holes, is particularly simple and safe.
Lying position
When you lie diagonally in the hammock, your body opens up the lying surface without the fabric restricting you. In the diagonal, the back is optimally supported and the spine is relieved. This position also makes rocking more comfortable.
Machine wash (gentle)
You can wash this hammock at 30°C on a gentle program!
Tie ribbons together
Tie the hanging cords together before washing to prevent them from tangling. The Brazilian macramé can be protected with a laundry net.
No dryer!
To protect your product, only allow it to air dry and do not put it in the dryer.
Protect against abrasion
When hanging your hammock, make sure it floats freely and doesn't rub against the ground.
Hang out at night
Cotton hammocks are sensitive to constant moisture. Hang your hammock overnight to protect it from moisture. Note that a hammock that has become damp needs air circulation to dry.
Overwinter dry
We recommend that you clean the hammock before the winter break. After it is completely dry, it can be wrapped in plastic and stored to protect it from pests.
