Space requirement:
When hanging a pole hammock, you should definitely remember to hang it tightly. The tighter the bar hammock hangs, the greater the comfort it will be. You need a little more distance for a rod hammock than for a rodless hammock. The hanging height (y) should be approximately a quarter of the hanging distance (x). For a rod hammock that is four meters long, you need a hanging height of around one meter. If the hammock is smaller, less distance and less height are required.
Fastening:
Hammock between two trees
Depending on the size of your hammock, the trees must be at least three meters apart and strong enough to withstand the load. To attach the hammock between two trees, a rope is looped around the tree trunk and connected to the hammock.
Hammock between two walls
Load-bearing, solid walls are suitable for attaching the hammock. The MultiSpot, which distributes the weight across three drill holes, is particularly simple and safe.
Lying position:
In a rod hammock, you lie most comfortably in the lengthwise direction of the hammock. The spreader bars keep the lying surface open so you can relax completely.
Hand wash:
You can wash your pole hammock by hand.
Protect against abrasion:
When hanging your hammock, make sure it floats freely and doesn't rub against the ground.
Overwinter dry:
We recommend that you clean the hammock before the winter break. After it is completely dry, it can be wrapped in plastic and stored to protect it from pests.
